Refrigerate After Opening is a comic strip that ran for a year and a half in Washington State University’s Daily Evergreen.
The Fridge follows three groups of friends. Randy, Don and JC all share an apartment. JC dated Marcy and, although the date didn’t go so well, she and her roommate Alice became part of the group. Likewise, Randy began dating Rose and she and... well, her roommate Meredith didn’t exactly become “part of the group”, but she was there.
As time went on, a few more characters were introduced. Guy began dating Marcy as a ruse to hide his homosexuality, but he came out shortly after. He replaced Randy after Randy and Rose got their own place. Bob the Sock was introduced, although I have a horrible suspicion I ripped him off from Ambush Bug. Please don’t sue me, DC.
During the summer of 2003 I finally switched to all digital strips. And the strip started getting much darker in tone. Heh. Sorry about that, couple of bad semesters there.
